Last night marked a momentous occasion at the Mokha1450 Coffee Lounge, nestled in the heart of the Golden Mile on Palm Jumeirah, Dubai. The renowned boutique, led by Garfield Kerr, CEO and Founder of Mokha 1450, joined forces with Bethlehem Antonie, CEO and Founder of Kesha Coffee Company, to unveil their latest masterpiece – the Limited Edition Ethiopian Sidama Dela Coffee.

Guests at the event were treated to a unique tasting experience, curated by the visionaries behind Mokha1450 and Kesha Coffee Company. The highlight of the evening was the introduction of Ethiopian Sidama Dela, an exceptional coffee variety that promises a distinctive and unforgettable flavor profile.

The tasting session involved an intriguing experiment where attendees were presented with two unidentified coffee samples labeled A and B. Guided by their senses, participants sampled both brews and cast their votes for the preferred option. The revelation followed, with Sample A and B both unveiled as the newly launched Ethiopian Sidama Dela, with the difference being that sample A was sprayed with water before grinding the coffee. This experiment was based on a recntly published study on the effects of static electricity on the taste of coffee. The element of surprise added an extra layer to the experience, ensuring that those in attendance will forever cherish the memory of this unique encounter.

Originating from the Sidama Dela Village in Ethiopia, this limited edition coffee is curated by Kesha Coffee Company. Sourced from micro-lot farming families at an elevation of 2100-2250 meters above sea level, the Heirloom varietal undergoes a meticulous natural anaerobic processing method.
