Costa Coffee Welcomes Cecile Angrand as Chief Marketing Officer
Costa Coffee has enlisted the expertise of Cecile Angrand as its new Chief Marketing Officer, tapping into her extensive background at Bel, Nespresso, and Cadbury. Angrand, formerly the Chief Growth Officer at French healthy food group Bel, will now oversee the global marketing teams at Costa Coffee, managing brand, digital, loyalty, product innovation, insights, and corporate affairs.
Having previously held key roles at Nespresso and Cadbury, Angrand brings a wealth of experience to her new position. She will report to both Costa Coffee CEO Philippe Schaillee and Coca-Cola Company Global Chief Marketing Officer Manuel Arroyo. Additionally, Angrand will serve on Costa Coffee’s Global Executive team and Coca-Cola’s Global Marketing Executive team.
Expressing her enthusiasm for the role, Angrand stated, “I’m thrilled to be joining Costa Coffee as its new Chief Marketing Officer. Headquartered in Bedfordshire, UK, Costa Coffee boasts a presence in over 4,000 stores across 45 markets. The coffee chain became part of the Coca-Cola family in 2018 through an acquisition valued at £3.9bn ($5.4bn).
