Saudi Arabia changing the name of Arabic coffee to Saudi coffee
The Federation of Chambers in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia issued a circular for restaurants and cafes by changing the name “Arabic coffee” to “Saudi coffee”.
The Union stressed the need to adhere to the new designation in the list of products that are presented as a brand, according to the “previous” news site.
Thamer Al-Farshouti, an official of the Federation of Saudi Chambers, explained through his account in “Twitter”, that it has become forbidden to use the old label in all restaurants, cafes and toasters.
The Saudi Ministry of culture has announced, last year, the launch of an initiative to name the year 2022″the year of Saudi coffee,” as the kingdom ranks among the world’s most coffee-consuming countries, because of the high rate of consumption per capita Saudi coffee.
The kingdom is famous for its rich and aromatic coffee with its multiple benefits on human health, and for offering coffee traditions and customs that are passed down through generations in all Arab societies in general and in Saudi society.
The habit of drinking coffee also includes agreed signs that pour another cup of coffee, as the movement of shaking the Cup is one of the movements that enter the sign language of Arabs.
