UAE AeroPress ChampionShip 2023 starts tomorrow in Dubai
In a caffeine-fueled extravaganza, the seventh edition of the UAE AeroPress Championship 2023 is poised to kick off tomorrow, Wednesday, at the prestigious Dubai Multi Commodities Center, marking the start of what promises to be the most significant and thrilling coffee competition in the United Arab Emirates.
From October 25 to 27, the championship will witness a fierce competition amongst dedicated baristas and coffee aficionados who are vying for the golden ticket to represent the UAE at the 2023 Aeropress World Championship Finals in Melbourne, Australia, this December.
The event’s action-packed schedule begins with regional competitions, culminating in the national championship, all to be held at the Almas Convention Center of the Dubai Multi Commodities Center, Almas Tower, Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Dubai. This marks the fourth consecutive year that the center has been selected as the championship’s prestigious host.
Under the captivating theme of “Artificial Intelligence,” this year’s championship promises unique activations, courtesy of the Dubai Multi Commodities Center’s Gaming Centre. This innovation is set to make this year’s event the most enthralling spectacle in the coffee industry.
Coffee enthusiasts and fans are enthusiastically encouraged to attend and support the crème de la crème of the UAE’s baristas and coffee aficionados as they battle for a spot on the global coffee stage at the 2023 Aeropress World Championships, taking place from December 1 to 3, 2023, in Melbourne, Australia.
Garfield Kerr, the event organizer and CEO of Mokha 1450, expressed his excitement about the championship’s unique collaboration with DMCC. He stated, “Year after year, our mission is to raise the bar set by the previous edition, and this year, the DMCC has added unique activities for both competitors and guests to enjoy alongside the competition. This ensures that our event maintains its position as the most significant, exciting, and captivating coffee industry gathering.”
Saeed Al Suwaidi, Director of Agricultural Commodities at DMCC, expressed his delight in hosting the UAE AeroPress Championship for the seventh consecutive year. Southern Emirates Regional Aeropress Championship 2023: October 26 at 6 pm, Almas Convention Center, Dubai Multi Commodities Center. Featuring representatives from Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah.
National AeroPress Championship 2023: October 27 at 6 pm, Almas Convention Center, Dubai Multi Commodities Center. Featuring 21 competitors, the top three from each emirate.
