This Friday evening, the activities of the seventh edition of the UAE AeroPress Coffee Championship 2023 concluded successfully at the Dubai Multi Commodities Center (DMCC). This tournament witnessed wide participation from coffee makers and coffee lovers of various nationalities.
After strong competitions that lasted over three days, the winners of this distinguished tournament were crowned, which witnessed large participation from UAE citizens and residents of various nationalities. Filipino Alexander Bernardo from Toga Café shined and was crowned champion of the seventh edition of the UAE AeroPress Coffee Championship 2023, after he deservedly took first place. Omani Maitha Al Ghailani came in second place, while Sri Lankan Rizana Razmi from DRVN Coffee came in third place.
This tournament was characterized by wide participation from various segments of society, as distinguished talents gathered from all the emirates of the country. Due to the previous success of this tournament and the huge positive impact it has had on the coffee community in the UAE.
The winners of this tournament will get the opportunity to compete in the 2023 Aeropress World Championship Finals in Melbourne, Australia, next December.
In a special statement to “Coffee World”, Saeed Al Suwaidi, Director of Agricultural Commodities at the Dubai Multi Commodities Center (DMCC) , which hosted the tournament, praised the continuous development of the Aeropress Championship, stressing the importance of this global event and its positive impact.
