Announcement of Competitors for the 2023 UAE National Brewers Cup Championship

The Specialty Coffee Association in the United Arab Emirates has officially announced the list of contenders for the 2023 UAE National Brewers Cup Championship.

The event is scheduled to take place at the Abu Dhabi International Food Exhibition, hosted at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, from November 27 to 29, 2023.

The association revealed the list of 16 participants on its official Instagram account, featuring individuals competing personally as well as those representing cafes or establishments. The list includes:

The association emphasized that attendance is free for coffee enthusiasts and competition lovers. Interested individuals should register on the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre website to obtain tickets for the Abu Dhabi International Food Exhibition.

The UAE National Brewers Cup Championship is a competition that focuses on the skill of brewing filter coffee. Competitors must prepare and serve three individual beverages for a panel of judges. The judges evaluate the beverages based on a variety of factors, including aroma, taste, balance, and cleanliness.

In related news, due to a low number of registered participants, the association has decided not to host the National Cezve/Ibrik Championship.
