Bialetti Unveils ‘Pump My Moka’ Innovation at World of Coffee Geneva 2025

At the heart of the world’s most influential specialty coffee event, Bialetti, the legendary name in Italian coffee culture, is set to unveil a groundbreaking innovation at World of Coffee Geneva: Pump My Moka. The technology, created by inventors Simone Previati and Stefano Ceverini, ushers in a new era of moka brewing and will be showcased at booth no. 2171 from June 26 to 28 at Palexpo, Geneva.

Pump My Moka introduces a patented external pump system connected to the classic Moka Express via a quick-release valve. This innovation allows users to control pressure independently of temperature—an unprecedented leap in moka pot brewing. Paired with a thermometer strip that monitors water temperature, the system ensures total extraction control and a truly personalized coffee experience.

With this technology, every cup can be adjusted to individual taste preferences, enhancing the unique qualities of different coffee blends. From subtle floral notes to deep, rich aromas, Pump My Moka opens a world of sensory exploration, even for the most discerning coffee aficionados.

Visitors to Bialetti’s booth will experience an engaging and interactive program that includes live demos, expert-led tastings, and thought-provoking sessions. Highlights include:

  • “Coffee Mixology” – where Italian coffee tradition meets cocktail artistry.

  • “From Moka Express to Pump My Moka” – tracing the evolution of the iconic moka pot.

  • “Coffee from Plant to Cup” – a deep dive into the sustainability of the coffee supply chain.

  • “How the Perfect Aroma is Born” – exploring the art and science of sensory profiling for custom extraction.

Marzio Buttarelli, Chief Business and Development Officer of Bialetti, stated:

“Our mission is to safeguard the tradition of Italian coffee while embracing innovation that elevates its authenticity and quality. This collaboration with Pump My Moka is a major milestone, blending our rich heritage with forward-looking creativity.”
